About Indian Airforce AFCAT Exam

Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT)

Air Force Common Entrance Test or AFCAT is conducted by the Indian Air Force to select Class-I gazetted officers in flying and ground duties (technical and non-technical). The exam is conducted twice a year in February and August/September respectively.

Both Male And Female Candidates Can Appy For AFCAT

AFCAT is a gateway for both male and female candidates who wish to join Indian Air Force for both Short Service Commission in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission/Short Service Commission in Ground Duty for both technical and non-technical roles .

Selection Process for Indian Airforce AFCAT

Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the Online Examination and Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) Interview. Candidates of Technical branches are required to appear in both AFCAT and EKT.
