Border Security Force (BSF) has invited online application for 1072 vacancies for the Non-Gazetted & Non-Ministerial posts of Head Constable (Radio Operator) and

Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) in Group ‘C’ on temporary basis likely to be made permanent in Border Security Force (Communication Setup).

BSF Head Constable (Study Material)

BSF Head Constable RO & RM Study Material PDF

Preparation for the Phase I – Written Exam which is tentatively scheduled to be held on 28th July 2019.

BSF Head Constable RO & RM 2019 Exam will consist of 3 phases

1. Written Test OMR Based in MCQ Format,
2. PST, PET & Documentation and Descriptive Written Test and
3. Final Medical Examination.

BSF Head Constable Negative Marking

The syllabus will as per 10+2/ Intermediate of CBSE/ State Boards of Education.
For every multiple choice question of 2 marks, 0.50 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

FIRST PHASE

There will be one OMR based composite paper consisting of above mentioned four parts and the question paper will be “OMR based objective type with multiple choices”. Question paper will be printed both in English as well as Hindi for each post.

SECOND PHASE

Divided in Two Tests

1. PST, PET & Documentation (9th October 2019 Onward)

All the candidates appearing in this stage must have to qualify the PST/PET and documentation for further appearing in the next stage (2 written tests, i.e., descriptive test).

2. Descriptive Written Test (24th November 2019)

FOR HC (RO):- Candidates must qualify descriptive test as well as dictation test during this stage.
FOR HC (RM):- Candidates must have to qualify descriptive test during this stage.

Note Point

For BSF Serving Personnel- Departmental candidate shall be excluded from PST/PET. However, they have to attend 2 Phase recruitment only for Documentation and descriptive test(s) only.

THIRD PHASE

Final medical examination (30th January 2020 Onward)

Below are the medical standards

Minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of the both eyes without correction, i.e., without wearing glasses.
Must pass high-grade color vision test.
Must not have knock-knees, flat feet or varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess CP-III BY ISIHARA.
Must be in sound mental and bodily health and free from any defect/deformity likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
