CBSE CTET December 2021 Online Exam | Syllabus | Practice Set | Solved Paper

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the Central Teaching Eligibility Test (CTET) in Nov or Dec 2021 (tentative). CTET will have 2 sections: Paper I and Paper-II. Both the papers will be conducted on the same day in different shifts.

CTET Paper-1 Exam Pattern 2021

About Exam

CTET Paper 1 is for candidates interested in teaching class’s 1-5, while CTET Paper 2 (Primary Stage) is for those interested in teaching classes 6-8. Objective Multiple Choice Questions are included in both Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Important about Paper 1

• Paper I (For Classes I to V) Preliminary Stage: (Examination Duration- 2.5 Hours)
• Candidates who intend to teach class I-V will have to appear in Paper I. Nature and Scope of Questions (Paper I)
• The questions in the Child Development and Pedagogy test will focus on the educational psychology of teaching and learning relating to children in the age group of 6-11 years.
• They will focus on understanding the characteristics and needs of different learners, interacting with them and the characteristics and characteristics of an effective facilitator of learning.
• The language in which I test the items will emphasize the competencies associated with the teaching medium.
• Language II will be a different language from Language I. An applicant can select one language as Language I and the other as Language II from the language options available on the confirmation page.
• English, Hindi and Sanskrit will be the only languages available. The candidate can choose only two languages from the following: English, Hindi or Sanskrit.
• Language II test items will emphasize language, communication and comprehension abilities.

• Language I: 30 Questions
• Environmental Studies: 30 Questions
• Language: II: 30 Questions
• Mathematics: 30 Questions

Paper II Exam Pattern of CTET 2021

CTET Paper 2 (Classes 6 to 8)

• Elementary Stage: (150 mnts examination)
• Paper-II is for the candidates who want to teach class VI to VIII.
• The Child Development and Pedagogy test items will mainly focus on the educational psychology of teaching and learning relating to the age group of 11-14 years.
• They will focus on the characteristics and characteristics of an effective facilitator of learning and understanding, interacting and interacting with different learners' characteristics, needs and psychology.
• The language in which I test the items will emphasize the competencies associated with the teaching medium.
