RHC District Judge Written Exam Pattern

Rajasthan High Court District Judge Pre Exam Pattern

Law Paper I (3 hours)    Maximum Marks – 150

• 1.    This exam will be written objective type (Offline)
• 2.    Question paper will consist total 150 questions.
• 3.    Each question 1 marks so paper will be total 150 marks.
• 4.    Time is for exam 3 hrs.
• 5.    There will be no negative marking in this exam.
• 6.    To qualify pre Exam minimum passing marks is 40% for sc/st & 45% for all other categories.

Imporant points for this Exam

• I.    This posts have 4 papers in Mains Exam.
• II.    Exam will consist subjective/narrative type questions.
• III.    Each Question Paper will 100 marks.
• IV.    Time duration of exam 3 hrs.
• V.    There is NO Negative Marking

Language which includes translation, precis, essays etc. (2 hours)    Maximum Marks – 50

Interview | Minimum Marks– 18

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION:

• I.    The scheme of competitive examination for direct recruitment to the cadre of District Judge shall be as prescribed in Rule 40 read with schedule Vll of the " Rules".
• II.    There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers in Preliminary Examination.
• III.    The Preliminary Examination shall be conducted on OMR Answer Sheets.
• IV.    Model answer key to the question paper of Preliminary Examination shall be published on official website of this Court after holding of the Preliminary Examination.
• V.    Objections from candidates against the answer key shall be sent within such time limit and such manner prescribed by Rajasthan High Court. Such objections shall be considered by a competent Commlttee and if needed, after modifying the answer key,
• VI.    The final answer-key may be published on the official website of this Court, simultaneously, with the declaration of result of Preliminary Examination.
• VII.    To qualify for Main Examination, the candidates of SC/ST category shall have to secure minimum 40% marks and candidates of all other categories shall have to secure 45% minimum marks in the Preliminary Examination.
• VIII.    The Committee constituted by the Chief Justice shall scrutinize the applications of the applicants who are qualified for main examination and shall satisfy itself before granting of certificate
• IX.    In case that the application has been made strictly in accordance with the provisions of Rajasthan Judicial Service Rules, 2010 and the decision as to Eligibility or otherwise of the candidates for admission in Mains Examination shall be final. No candidate shall be admitted to the Main Examination unless he holds a certificate of admission granted by the person authorized by the Chief Justice.
• X.    After interview, a merit list of the candidates (category wise) shall be prepared on the basis of their aggregate marks obtained in Main Examination and lnterview considering the suitability in general.
• XI.    Provided that notwithstanding anything contained in any rule or schedule and having regard to the requirement of efficiency in service, the court may be determined such cut off marks as considered fit for being recommended for appointment.

Note Point:

Gneral suitability for this service of the candidates securing equal aggregate marks in Main Examination and lnterview shall firstly be determined on the basis of higher marks obtained in the lnterview.
In case, the candidates secure equal marks even in lnterview the merit shall be determined by giving higher preference to candidate who was enrolled as Advocate on earlier date.

SYLLABUS OF EXAMINATION:

• 1.    Syllabus for RHC District Judge Preliminary Examination is prescribed in Schedule Vlll of the "Rules".
• 2.    Syllabus for RHC District Judge Main Examination is prescribed in Schedule lX of the "Rules".
• 3.    Candidates are again adviced to read the Rules carefully.
