Statue of Unity (India): All you need to know about World Largest statue

I recall the day of October 31, 2013 when we laid the foundation of this ambitious project. At record time, a large project was created and every Indian should be well-received by it.

I urge you all to come to see 'Statue of Unity' in the coming time. 'Statue of Unity' symbolizes the unity of hearts and the geographical solidarity of our motherland.

Unity of Unity
The first six months before of 1947 were extremely important in the history of India. In addition to the empire's rule, the partition of India also reached its last phase. However, at that time the picture was not completely clear whether the country had more than one division.
Prices had gone up to the sky, the crisis of food was commonplace, but beyond these things, the biggest concern was seeing India's unity, which was in danger at that time. The much anticipated formation of 'Home Department' in this background was done in the year of June 1947.

Sardar Patel completed this task by working wholeheartedly and earnestly

One of the main goals of this department was to discuss about their relationships with more than 550 princely states, whose size, population, land area and economic conditions were quite different. At that time, Mahatma Gandhi had said that,
"The problem of the states is so big that only 'you' can solve it. Here 'A' is not meant to anyone but Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, whose jayanti today We are celebrating and we are giving sister-in-law tributes."
In his typical Sardar Patel style, he accurately met this challenge with strength and administrative efficiency. The time was short and the jabdeeh was very big, but the person executing it was not an ordinary person, but Sardar Patel, who was fluent for this, would not let his nation bow in any aspect.

Sardar Patel said that this time is not about resting or coming back.

He and his team interacted with all the princely states and ensured to make all these princely states an integral part of 'Azad India'. Sardar Patel completed this task by working wholeheartedly and earnestly, and due to this style, we are currently seeing the modern integrated map of modern India.
It is said that VP Menon had expressed the desire to take government leave when the country got its independence. On this Sardar Patel said that this time is not about resting or coming back.
Sardar Patel had such a determination. VP Menon was made Secretary of State Department. In his book 'The Story of the Integration of Indian States',
he wrote how Sardar Patel played a leading role in this campaign and in his leadership, motivated the whole team to work hard.

Work of nation building was incomplete

He has written that for Sardar Patel, first of all were the interests of the people of India, which can not be compromised. We celebrated the rise of new India on August 15, 1947, but the work of nation building was incomplete.

First Home Minister of the Indian Parliament

As the first Home Minister of the Indian Parliament, he started the work of creating administrative structures which is still going on even today, whether it is a case of daily governance or a special case, especially for the protection of the interests of the poor and the disadvantaged people. Sardar Patel was an active administrator.

India is known for its co-operative sector- Sardar Patel

His experience in the administration, especially his experience in the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation in the 1920s, helped strengthen the administrative structure of India. He carried out commendable work in furthering the Swachatra work in Ahmedabad.
They ensured cleansing and drainage system throughout the city. He also emphasized on other aspects of urban unrest like roads, electricity and education. Today, if India is known for its co-operative sector, then credit goes to Sardar Patel.

His vision of empowering rural communities, especially women, is seen in Amul project. It was Sardar Patel who popularized the idea of the co-operative society and thus ensured respect and shelter for many people. Sardar Patel was synonymous with integrity and honesty. The farmers of India had a strong belief in them.
He was a Kisan son, who led the Advance Front during the Bardoli Satyagraha. The working class saw the ray of hope in them, which showed the image of a leader who would stand up for their rights today. Traders and industrialists preferred to work with them because they believed that Sardar Patel is a veteran leader of India's economic and industrial development vision. His political friends also trusted him.
Acharya Kripalani used to say that whenever he used to be in a dilemma and if Bapu's guidance was not found, then he would have headed towards Sardar Patel. In the year 1947, when discussions about political agenda were at its peak, Sarojini Naidu called them 'dynamic person with determination'. Everyone had complete faith in their words and their methodology. All the people, respecting Sardar Patel, rose above caste, religion and age. This year, the birth anniversary of the Sardar is more special.

Today the 'Statue of Unity' is being inaugurated with the blessings of 130 crore Indians. Located on the banks of Narmada, 'Statue of Unity' is one of the world's tallest statues. Mother Earth son Sardar Patel will strengthen us with our head high, guide us and keep us motivated. "Statue of Unity" is a special tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the architect of modern India, who is a country of unity. " -Naredra Modi

It reminds us that we may not be able to fight bitterly by splitting. By being united, we can face the world and touch the new heights of development and glory. Sardar Patel worked at unprecedented speed to destroy the history of the Upanishad and created the geography of unity with the spirit of nationalism.
They saved India from being divided into smaller regions or states and deployed the weakest parts in the national structure. Today, we are working on shoulders to build 130 million Indians to build a new India which will be strong, prosperous and inclusive. Every decision is being made by ensuring that the benefits of development reach the weakest class of society without corruption and without prejudice as Sardar Patel wanted.
